Dead Memorial Day: additional runs on some public transport routes
On Sunday, November 24, which is the Dead Memorial Day, additional runs and larger vehicles will be available on some routes of Riga public transport (trams, trolleybuses and buses).
On the Dead Memorial Day, additional runs will be organized on:
- tram route No. 11;
- bus routes No. 11, 20, 29, 36, 37, 39 and 48.
Trams on route No. 11 will run according to a temporary schedule from 10:00 until 18:00. During the maximum passenger flow, trams on this route will run with intervals of 5-6 minutes.
From 9:00 until 18:00, all runs of bus routes No. 11 and 29 (both directions) will reach Jaunciems cemetery.
More runs of trolleybus route No. 19 will reach AS „Dzintars”.
For passengers’ comfort, larger vehicles will be available on bus routes No. 9, 12, 37 and on trolleybus route No. 19.
